Did ODUDUWA, Yoruba progenitor truly migrate from Mecca?
Without anyone telling a reasonable African person,we all should know this story was created by the YORUBA Muslims who made an ally with the children of Dan Fodio in the early 1900s to enforce Islam on the YORUBA OMOLUABI but that has been debunked by the world’s archeological facts.
What modern research shows
– Archaeology: Ile-Ife art and settlements date to 500 BC – 1000 AD, with continuity. The Nok culture (1000 BC) in central Nigeria already shows the same terracotta style that later appears in Ife. No break showing outsiders arriving from Arabia.
– Genetics:DNA studies of Yoruba people show they are one of the oldest West African lineages, clustering with other Nigerians, not with Arabians. The Yoruba have almost zero Arabian ancestry before recent centuries.
– Culture:Yoruba religion (Ifa, Orisha), farming system (yam, palm oil), and urban system are rainforest adapted, not desert in Mecca.
Yoruba ancestors have lived in present-day Southwest Nigeria, Benin and Togo for at least 3,000 – 5,000 years, and the area marked as “Yoruba” in your image says 50,000+ years of human presence in that land far beyond Mecca’s story.
The Saudi link is respected as part of oral tradition, but it is not historically true.
Why this matter for YORUBA OMOLUABI:
Ile Ife has been evidently proved by the world’s researchers that Ile Ife was already making glass beads and bronze art by 500BC-800AD. If Oduduwa left Mecca to found Ife, Mecca didn’t exist as a city yet when Ife already existed.
Yoruba is thousands of years older than Mecca as a settled city.
The religious criminals who formed Mecca’s history about Yoruba didn’t know there would be something like DNA.
Ifa, Oduduwa is not a migrant from Mecca at all – Ifa says Oduduwa is the one who completed creation on earth. That is why Ife is called Ife Oodaye – where creation dawned.

Oduduwa sacrificed, and he collected the land from Obatala.
Itan (Story):Olodumare first sent Obatala to create dry land from heaven with a chain, sand, and a 5-toed chicken. Obatala got drunk on palm wine and failed. Then Olodumare sent Oduduwa. Oduduwa took the sand, dropped it on the water, put the chicken on it, the chicken spread the sand and created dry land. That first land is Ile-Ife. That is why Oduduwa is called “Olofin Aye” – owner of the world or “Ooni Ile”,the owner of the land.

Meaning: The land belongs to Oduduwa, Obatala owns white cloth. I know the land, I don’t know white cloth. Meaning Oduduwa’s power is on the earth itself.
In summary from Ifa:
– Oduduwa did not come from Mecca or Saudi Arabia – he came from *Orun (heaven)* to earth on an iron chain.
– He is not a man who migrated, he is an Orisha/Irunmole – one of the 401 divinities sent by Olodumare.
– His work is to create and own the earth – Ateyele, Olofin Oodaye.
– Ile-Ife is the spot where he landed – that is why Ifa calls it the beginning “Kutukutu owuro” or ipinlese.
The foreign religious terrorists believed the story of Adam and Eve but rejected the Oduduwa’s stories.
